Who doesn’t know cheese? Yes, cheese is one of the toppings or filling of a variety of foods such as bread, sandwiches, pizza, crepes, biscuits, and others. Cheese has various types and uses. The following explanation:

  1. Cheedar Cheese

In Indonesia, you know one brand of cheese with the name Cheddar. Though cheddar is one type of cheese in the world. This identical box and solid cheese is a cheese from England. Usually the use of this cheese is used as the main ingredient for making cakes.

  1. Mozarella Cheese

At first this famous cheese was made from basic ingredients of buffalo milk, but over time buffalo milk itself became a step, then Mozzarella was difficult to produce. But now it has been tried to make Mozzarella with cow’s milk to facilitate the manufacturing process. In Indonesia alone, this cheese is famous as a topping on Pizza.

  1. Edam Cheese

This cheese is identical to the red wrapper resembling apples. This cheese is considered as one of the hard cheeses originating from the Netherlands. The name Edam itself is taken from an area in the Netherlands, Edam, in North Holand. Edam cheese can be served alone with a fruit mixture, but people can also use it for sprinkling pastries.

  1. Gouda Cheese

Unlike other cheeses, Gouda cheese has a sweet taste because during the heating process, the content of lactic acid disappears. Gouda cheese also originates from the Netherlands. This cheese is usually used as a salad topping, and other foods such as spaghetti. Almost like Mozzarella, this cheese can be melted in a hot state.

  1. Parmesan Cheese

This cheese that originated in Italy has a solid and hard shape. If you look closely, this cheese has small holes in each part. As with some other cheeses, Parmesan is made from cow’s milk and takes a long time during its production. This cheese is usually used for sprinkling soup, pizza, and spaghetti, and is an alternative for sprinkling pastries in general.

 

Well, here is one recipe that you can make with one of the types of cheese above, Parmesan cheese. Here is the recipe:

Quick Parmesan Bread

Material :

300 g (2 ½ cup) type 00 wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

125 ml (1/2 cup) milk

1 tablespoon olive oil

50 g (1/4 cup) of butter

60 g (1/2 cup and 2 teaspoons) freshly shredded Parmesan

2 eggs

Italian Herbs

 

How to make :

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (392 ° F).

Mix the butter and eggs until soft. Add milk and parmesan.

Mix the flour with baking powder and salt and stir until the mixture becomes soft and sticky.

Line the baking sheet with SEVEN Baking Paper and fill the mixture. Cut the dough into triangles or you want to break it down more simply later.

Brush the mixture with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian ingredients.

Bake parmesan bread for about 20-25 minutes until the bread is golden brown.
