Soon the holiday will soon arrive. Usually it has become a tradition to provide pastries as a food treat on Lebaran. Yes, cookies are indeed included foods that usually must always be available during Lebaran or Eid al-Fitr. It’s tasty, sweet, and delicious. The shapes and types vary, but usually the most popular are classic pastries, namely nastar and kastengel. Many sell these pastries, but some make their own as a typical Idul Fitrah food.

 

Both of these cookies are ascribed to the Netherlands. Nastar actually comes from Dutch ananas and taart which means pineapple tart or pineapple cake. Just like nastar, kastengel is also considered to originate from the Netherlands. Kastengel itself comes from the word kaas and stengels which means cheese bars.

 

The process of making pastries and nastar cakes certainly requires a baking sheet that is not sticky with the cake. For that matter, usually there are still smearing the pan with butter or margarine. However, you can replace it by using Baking Paper Seven, safe and foodgrade baking paper, and you don’t need to wash your baking sheet because it’s coated with paper. The cooking process becomes more effective because it does not take a long time to wash. In addition, Baking Paper Seven can be used many times. Come on, make it easy to cook pastries like nastar and castor for your Lebaran from now on.
